Scrying Smoke EDP
This opens with a gorgeous smouldering frankincense, the scent of frankincense tears melting on charcoal. As it mellows, it's less smoky and smouldery, but it's still all about the beautiful frankincense which is backed by wonderful woody notes and vanilla to round it out. It's such a meditative and contemplative scent. As the scent gently wafts around me, it is exactly the experience of frankincense being burned, the smoke billowing in the air. It gives me such joy since I can't burn incense in my home (I have birds and they can't tolerate any kind of smoke). This is that experience encapsulated in a bottle.

Blackburn's Parlour EDP
I'm a huge fan of everything Solstice Scents, but a fairly new gourmand lover. The second it hit my skin,I fell head over heels. What starts out as a fun, almost lighthearted scent with a top note of the most realistic, fresh banana I have ever smelled in a perfume, morphs into the most creamy, delicious, vanilla ice cream waffle cone sundae fragrance. While it may sound like an over the top sweet concoction, it isn't. It's so well balanced and blended. An absolute must for gourmand and vanilla fans. The kind of scent you wear when you want to feel positively giddy! Warning:this may cause strong cravings for a banana split.

Fizzy Lifting Drink Soap
I absolutely love this soap. I keep it sealed in a bag (after it's dry) to preserve this masterful scent! I've had the soap for 6 months and it is just as wonderful today as it was the day I received it! It is seriously champagne for your nose. If you're a fan of effervescent scents this is a must have.

Basilica Perfume Oil
If you love resins, Basilica is a must have. The wonderfully dark, resinous, woody and amber notes are rounded and softened out here by vanilla, which lends just a *hint* of sweetness to the blend. This is such a perfectly well-rounded scent. Basilica is one of my favorite Solstice Scents fragrances (second only to Estate Rosewood at the moment) and one of my favorite scents of all time from any fragrance house. Angela is a master at her craft and evocative blends like this are her forte.

Rose Mallow Cream EDP
Solstice Scents makes the most amazing gourmands with a twist. Rose Mallow Cream is beautiful, sweet, candied rose with creamy vanilla and a hint of cool white musk, with a splash of juicy strawberry in the drydown. Heavenly.

Estate Vanilla EDP
If you love vanilla or always wanted a white chocolate fragrance, then you need to try this perfume. Estate Vanilla is long lasting, creamy, sweet, and rich, like white chocolate and warm, caramelized, vanilla liqueur. It's so good and complex for such a pure vanilla experience. Just amazing (3

Estate Rosewood EDP
Estate Rosewood. Vanilla pod candles in a darkened bedroom, with a giant well-oiled, four poster bed. It's an heirloom and the linens are soft from use and sweet with the smell of the floral sachets they live with in the wooden chest where they are kept. Roses on the vanity, a tumbler of Bourbon by the bed, the memory of a cigar... I cannot wait to get a full bottle. Bear won't stop sniffing me.

Adhara Perfume Oil
I thought that this would be another citrus and vanilla scent where the vanilla cream never made an appearance on me, but I can actually smell the vanilla cream in this one. Yay! It's juicy, refreshing, zesty orange and smooth, sweet vanilla cream. I don't smell the coconut or violet, but this is a great orange & vanilla fragrance that doesn't smell too artificial or like cheap candy on my skin. I love it. Going to be great for summer.

Garnet Grapefruit Perfume Oil
nom nom nom I want to sprinkle some sugar on my wrist and eat it. An exact snapshot of red grapefruit before sweetening it. Definitely needs something to combine with, but yummy.

Tristan Perfume Oil
I almost don't want to tell you how good this is because you'll buy it all! At first, it was pretty masculine upon application. The musk was pretty strong. Within 5 minutes, you get caramel and sandlewood and resins but it isn't heavy masculine. It definitely gets more feminine and its super lush and thick like a after dinner drink with a load of sweet caramel on the top. This is my absolute fav of the collection.

Draco Perfume Oil
Another great entry in Arcana's "apples and tea" series, but not much of the other notes. I happen to love Arcana's apple, so that's fine, but not FBW for me.

Swashbuckler Perfume Oil
LIME in the bottle and LIME LIME LIME on the opening. Holy cats. Some spices sidle in sideways, and a medicinal edge develops. It's bitter and not very good. Eventually I washed most of it off and I got a little of the rum spice left over. Like someone dropped some Old Spice into a bottle of fake lime juice concentrate.

Rhinestone Mummy Perfume Oil
I LOVE the Rhinestone Mummy. She is my linen-wrapped friend. (3 (3 (3 Snoofing the bottle, she's strong bright cherry. And yet, there's something wonderful lurking around the edges...almost chocolate or vanilla. There's a total screaming fanfare of ~*~*CHERRYYYY*~*~ when she first hits my skin. The first time I wore her, I thought, "Uh-oh!" But the Cherry is just that--a fanfare! After all, a Lady should be announced as she enters a room. As she warms up, Rhinestone Mummy gets sultry. The cherry drops away like a big velvet cloak, and what she's *really* about is warmth and chewy resiny lickable goodness. I have an incredibly hard time trying to describe her. I ken the Kobalt. I ken a whisper of cherry that's supporting the rest of the scent. I ken that the lickable goodness is probably amber/sandal/Kobalt/pepper/anise, but I don't perceive them separately. As extreme drydown progresses, she is subtle, perhaps less lickable--that's already finished!--but still a lovely glow that, again, is pretty much indescribable. Warm. See? The Rhinestone Mummy makes me feel special, slinky, and like I have a lovely secret that I only share with *ahem* close friends. ;) I TOTALLY AGREE that she's drop dead sexy. YUMMMMMM!!!

Absinthe Perfume Oil
In vial: Green licorice! Wet on skin: Yep, it smells like Pernod. Green and metallic and licorice. Dry on skin: Smells like absinthe. Verdict: It smells much like every other absinthe perfume I’ve ever smelled.
